Indian National Team Legend Bhaichung Buthia see the positive side of the suspension of the Indian Football Federation (AIFF) by Fifa.
FIFA officially imposed a suspension on the AIFF on Tuesday (8/16), following third party interference in the governance of football in the sub-continent.
Former Indian national team captain Bhaichung Buthia has also given his response regarding the AIFF suspension.
He considered the suspension of FIFA sanctions against India to be very severe, but on the other hand, he saw that there was a good opportunity for his country to improve its football governance system.
“It is unfortunate that FIFA has frozen Indian football and at the same time I think it is a very strong decision by FIFA to ban Indian football,” Bhutia said. Sports NDTV.
