Students pursuing two degrees and studying in Australia and India

Professor Scott is in India to further strengthen the university’s commitment to the nation and to engage in the Australia-India Leadership Dialogue. He said the partnership with JGU reflects the critical importance of Australia’s relationship with India and the University of Sydney’s commitment to providing opportunities for India’s talented students.

“As the world begins to open up again, it’s more important than ever to provide students with immersive international experiences,” he said.

“We are excited to partner with OP Jindal Global University to give students the opportunity to earn two degrees in just four years and experience university life in Sydney. We know that these students will greatly enrich our community.”

The agreement with the University of Sydney will allow our students to benefit from this unique experience, allowing them to pursue dual degree programs and benefit from university experience in India and Australia, enriching their international career prospects.”

The University of Sydney Business School Bachelor of Commerce offers hands-on learning experiences, internship opportunities and a strong business foundation in business, with majors available in all subjects including Innovation and Entrepreneurship, International Business, Management and Leadership and more.

The Business School’s Associate Dean (Students and External Partnerships), Professor Suresh Cuganesan, said the partnership would equip students with the knowledge, skills and global perspective needed to thrive in the workplace of the future.

“The University of Sydney ranks first in Australia and fourth in the world for graduate employability,” he said.

“This agreement will help graduates launch careers and thrive on a global scale, and reflects the deepening of ties between our two great countries.”
