“This is a challenge that I want to achieve as soon as possible and I am determined to do so. Already in Chennai during the recent Olympics, I took a step forward by becoming a Masters candidate. It is very likely that I will be the titular Master at the end of next September’s African Championships. And I’m working hard to get there even before the end of this summer. If that doesn’t work, I’m looking at taking advantage of another approved tournament to become the titular Master. This is really a personal challenge“said Nadia
On the sidelines of the 44th Chennai Olympics, the African Confederation took the opportunity to renew its Executive Board. And if Botswanan Tshepiso Lopang is the new boss of the black continent’s chessboard, compatriot Nadia Marochkina inherits the rank of vice president. This will facilitate Africa’s cohabitation with world bodies whose presidents Arkad Dvorkovitch are of Russian origin, such as Nadia Maroch’s quinine.
