Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan managed to advance to the semi-finals of the Indian Open after defeating the representatives of Norway, Torjus Flaatten/Vegard Rikheim with a score of 21-12, 21-14.
Ahsan/Hendra were down 2-4 at the start of the game but then managed to win five points in a row to take a 7-4 lead.
After taking the lead, Ahsan/Hendra continued to hold the lead well. The first interval of play ended with an 11-6 lead for Ahsan/Hendra.
After the break, Ahsan/Hendra continued to advance and were able to shoot with a nine-point advantage in the 17-8 position. Ahsan/Hendra finally closed the opener with two straight points to win them 21-12.
At the start of the second match, the acquisition of points was tight at the start of the match. Flaatten/Rikheim can lead at 4-2 and still be at 5-4. Ahsan/Hendra then took the lead in a 7-5 position.

The Daddies went on to win match points at 20-13. After failing at the first opportunity, Ahsan/Hendra secured victory after prevailing in a knockout fight against Flaatten/Rikheim. The second match ended with a score of 21-14 for Ahsan/Hendra.
