India backs Indonesia to take over as G20 chair

KBB NEWS – The Secretary General of the Ministry of Manpower, Anwar Sanusi, said that India strongly supports Indonesia in the success of Indonesia’s G20 Presidency in 2022.

Topics discussed said India is very pleasant and contextual with current working conditions.

“We will carry the theme of how to improve working conditions to recover together,” said General Secretary Anwar Sanusi, Sunday 06/12/2022.

Anwar said four issues were raised during Indonesia’s G20 Presidency, ranging from issues related to providing affirmations to people with disabilities, empowering MSMEs, increasing human resources by optimizing vocational training community and the protection of social security of employment in the new world of work.

“These four issues, India fully agrees and will be studied for them when they host India’s G20 Presidency in 2023,” Anwar Sanusi said.

He added that India really appreciates all the preparations of the Indonesian G20 Presidency, especially for the Employment Working Group (EWG).

“Of course, we have to continue to communicate with the G20 countries to be able to hold real working groups and complete the agenda which will be the declaration of ministers and workers in September 2022”, concluded Anwar.***
