CHENNAI: Nissan Motor India announced the launch of its Nissan Magnite RED Edition, with prices starting at Rs 7,86,500 lakh (ex showroom, Delhi).
“The RED Edition draws attention to the Magnite’s stylish exterior with a distinctive red accent covering the front grille, front bumper fascia, wheel arch and body side cladding,” the company said in a statement.
“The interiors feature a premium red dashboard, red accent on the door side armrest and center console. Key design additions include body graphics, a tailgate garnish and a RED Edition-specific badging.” The RED Edition retains the diamond-cut R16 alloy wheels, an LED fog lamp and LED daytime running lights (DRLs).
Nissan magnet The RED Edition also offers technical features such as a wireless charger, a PM 2.5 air filter, an LED door sill and mood lighting. Other key features include an 8.0 touchscreen with Wi-Fi connectivity for Android Auto and Apple Carplay, a 7.0 full TFT instrument cluster and a rear view camera with projection assist.
The RED Edition Magnite has a start/stop button, driving dynamics control, traction control, brake assistant and hill start assistant.
Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India said: “The Nissan Magnite has had over 1,000 bookings since its launch. The new Nissan Magnite RED Edition will accelerate this already strong demand with an offering for a young, emerging and tech-savvy audience.” The RED Edition comes in 1.0 liter MT, 1.0 liter turbo MT and 1.0-litre turbocharged CVT variants.
Designed in Japan and manufactured in India, the Nissan Magnite is powered by the 1.0 liter turbocharged HRA0 engine that delivers a maximum power of 100hp and a maximum torque of 160Nm with a fuel efficiency of 20kmpl. The Magnite RED Edition is based on the popular Magnite XV variant. It is offered in three variants: Magnite XV MT RED Edition, Magnite Turbo XV MT RED Edition and Magnite Turbo XV CVT RED Edition. The Magnite RED Edition is offered in two monotone color options – Onyx Black and Storm White.
