The Hyundai Stargazer will soon be launched in Indonesia. This low minivan car will liven up the segment occupied by the Toyota Avanza, Mitsubishi Xpander, Daihatsu Xenia and Suzuki Ertiga. The Hyundai Stargazer is said to use the same platform as the Indian car, the Kia Carens.

Launch page India Automotive News, Hyundai Stargazer will probably use a modified K1 platform. This platform was previously used by Kia Carens which was assembled in India.

K1 platform was introduced by Hyundai Group in 2018. This platform has been used in several Hyundai Group models such as Sonet, Hyundai Venue and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.

Previously, Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) provided teaser images and videos of the Stargazer, both exterior and exterior. From the outside, Stargazer uses the Sleek One Box typology concept with a one-curve design, creating an aerodynamic car profile.

This car is also fitted with horizontal daytime running lights, a symbol of Indonesia, a country located on the equator. Then, at the rear, this minivan is also decorated with a Distinctive H taillight which emphasizes that the Stargazer is a product of Hyundai, even if it looks from afar.

The symmetrical H lamp also symbolizes the balance, unity and harmony that connects Indonesia from East to West. The design demonstrates Hyundai’s innovation in combining technology and emotional values.

Hyundai also showed a leak inside the Stargazer. One of them is the use of the captain’s chair. The first highlight is the second row of seats in the form of captain’s chairs. It is believed that the use of this captain’s chair provides more comfort for passengers.

Next, the Hyundai Stargazer dashboard section is displayed. The Hyundai Stargazer dashboard looks quite luxurious with its head unit. On the steering wheel, there are buttons that appear to adjust audio and cruise control.
