The Indian Army is currently conducting an operation to track down terrorists in Ahlan Gadool in Kokernag area of Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to officials, the clash occurred during a joint operation by the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF in the Kokernag area of Anantnag.
Havildar Dipak Kumar Yadav and Lance Naik Praveen Sharma lost their lives in the line of duty in Anantnag.
The incident occurred on Saturday at an altitude of 10,000 feet as security forces continued their operations despite the difficult terrain.

They were injured in a clash between security forces and terrorists in the Kokernag district of Anantnag, officials said.
