Rain lashed parts of Delhi in the evening hours of Wednesday, causing flooding and traffic disruption in some parts of the city. The Meteorological Department is forecasting more rain in the coming hours.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the capital will be under yellow alert, which stands for “caution,” on Wednesday.
“Light to moderate rainfall is expected in most places in Delhi and NCR during the next one to two hours,” the weather department said in its nowcast warning.

At 8:30 a.m. the humidity was measured at 92 percent.
The maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be around 32 degrees Celsius.
