Vivo has officially introduced the V40 series in India, putting an end to months of speculation. The new lineup includes the Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro, both of which feature a triple camera system with ZEISS optics and are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. Both models offer a 6.78-inch AMOLED display. Here are some of the things that this newly launched smartphone has to offer.
Vivo V40: specifications and features
Vivo V40 comes with a 6.78-inch 3D curved display that supports 2800×1260 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. This phone is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor.
For photography, the Vivo V40 features triple rear cameras consisting of a 50MP primary camera with ZEISS autofocus and optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP ZEISS wide-angle camera, and a 50MP telephoto portrait camera. This phone also comes with a studio-grade aura light to enhance image quality. On the front, there is a 50MP ZEISS group selfie camera. Both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording.

Vivo V40 Professional is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset, with RAM options up to 12GB and 512GB storage. This phone has a 5,500mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging. The phone features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The phone runs on Android 14 with Funtouch OS 14.
