This Startup 'Returns Special Checks' to Shark Tank India Investors, Here's Why

P-TALa company that manufactures beautiful brass, copper and kansa products, made history on “Shark Aquarium India” by obtaining an agreement with the five investors. The startup now “returns” the checks to the Sharks.
When P-TAL appeared in season 3 of 'Shark Tank India', it bagged a bid of Rs 20 lakh each from Sharks. Aman GuptaAnupam Mittal, Amit JainNamita Thapar and Vineeta Singh at 0.64% equity.In a Instagram post shared recently, P-TAL announced that as a sign of gratitude, its artisans “returned” checks to each of the five Sharks who invested in it.
Deeply touched by the investors' confidence in their company, the artisans wanted to express their appreciation in a unique way. P-TAL created symbolic “checks” payable in “Love, Respect and Blessings” for each Shark Tank investor. However, instead of money, checks made payable to Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, Amit Jain, Namita Thapar and Vineeta Singh can be encashed for love and blessings.
A now-viral Instagram post from P-TAL features a video showcasing the artisans’ joy and their sincere thanks for the investors’ trust. “We are sending checks back to the 5 sharks from Shark Tank India who invested in us,” P-TAL wrote on Instagram. “When we went to our artisans and shared this with them, they were overjoyed and had tears of happiness in their eyes. To express their gratitude, we are sending a check on their behalf to each of the 5 sharks, paying them: Love, Respect and Blessings,” the message reads.
