The Indian team has never won an ODI against Australia at home and in this series they also lost 0-2.
After losing the one-off Test against India at the Wankhede Stadium a few days ago, the Australian women's team showed with their ODI series victory that they have the upper hand over India in this format. This means that out of the 52 ODIs played between these teams, Australia have won 42 times.
All-rounder Annabel Sutherland has made it clear that she will not win the third ODI easily and will only fight for victory. “It’s probably a testament to the consistency of cricket we’ve played over the years,” Sutherland told the media.
“I think overall as well, everyone from the 15 (units) can come and play their role,” Sutherland added. “We really want to win the last game of the series. “We have fielded our best team and are aiming for a 3-0 draw to go into the T20 with some momentum,” he added.
