He also emphasized the importance of building talent, skills and competencies and broadening and deepening the talent pool to be among the best in the world. “Investing in talent brings higher returns than investing in machinery,” he added.
Ambani also spoke about the key tenet of Reliance's institutional culture, which is working with the ownership mentality. He advised young leaders to be bold, courageous and adventurous in pursuit of their current and future goals, while always supporting one another. “Because what we can achieve together is always immensely greater than what can be achieved individually and in isolation,” he says.

RIL is currently ranked 88th on the Fortune Global 500 list and has moved up 16 places in the last year from 104th in 2022. In the September quarter of FY2024, RIL posted a consolidated revenue of ₹2.35 lakh crore while net profit stood at ₹17,394 crore.
