Buddh Circuit is the place Indian MotoGP 2023 received widespread praise after preparations for the race were disrupted by visas.

MotoGP will make history as it will take place for the first time in India on Sunday (24/9). However, before the story was created, chaos occurred due to visa issues.

Many crews and riders have had difficulty obtaining visas for India. World champions like Marc Marquez also have to postpone their departure because they do not yet have a visa.

Apart from visas, a number of racing teams have also complained about the high operational costs of Indian MotoGP. Not only are the costs of issuing a visa soaring compared to other series, but accommodation costs like shuttles are also considered unreasonable.

However, the 2023 Indian MotoGP still has a positive side. The Buddh Circuit, which was previously used for Formula One (F1), has received praise from Ducati and Dorna Sports.

City of Sky Sport ItalyDucati Team Principal Davide Tardozzi said he was very excited to watch the Indian MotoGP at the Buddh Circuit after touring the track on foot and on a scooter.

“It’s a beautiful design. A track with a nice line and turns against the slope,” Tardozzi said.

“I have to say that the asphalt also looks in very good condition,” Tardozzi added.

Loris Capirossi, head of security at Dorna Sports, also expressed similar comments. The former three-time world champion believes that MotoGP riders will enjoy the Buddh circuit.

“I can say that the track is good and the drivers will be happy: all the requested changes have been made and all the necessary protections have been put in place,” Capirossi was quoted as saying. Motosan.

“For me, I can also say that the design is magnificent: there are fantastic parabolic curves. This layout is different from the others and also quite difficult,” continued Capirossi.
