The Futurapolis Planète event returns with Futurapolis Expériences and its immersive experiences

For its 12th edition, Futurapolis Planète offers a new immersive experience system, making the event a captivating work program that utilizes immersive reality technologies such as 360 film, virtual reality and augmented reality: Futurapolis Experience.

Under the direction of Stéphane Malagnac, head of Immersive Experiences and Heritage, this program allows you to understand how innovation paves the way for the future in the face of today’s great challenges: the climate crisis, oceans, culture, environment and harmoniously integrating with the Futurapolis Planète , taking place simultaneously on the same date.

In the program:

Factory: Thursday, November 30th from 5pm to 8pm. A meeting of professionals dedicated to business transformation and issues related to the energy transition with testimonials from business leaders and experts.
General public conferenceon December 1 and 2, to outline and understand the major issues facing our society
Futurapolis Experience (new), from 30 to 2 December, offers you a journey of immersive experiences (virtual and augmented reality) to discover digital masterpieces and explore the seabed, the top of the world, the wild environment of the African savanna or even the Chauvet cave. Through experimentation, discovery, and entertainment, you will understand how Innovation allows us to develop new paths for our future.

Mediation will be provided by students from sup e-art digital design school in Toulouse. Futurapolis Expériences aims to highlight XR creations, generate public interest in these innovations and support sectoral development through an eclectic editorial program.

Expedition Everest: Mission – 360: Discover the exciting adventures of the National Geographic and Rolex Perpetual Planet Everest expedition, where scientists, climbers and Sherpa guides join forces to explore the impact of climate change on high mountain environments
