Thousands of birds fell from the sky as parts of India were engulfed in a heatwave. The air temperature is crazy, reaching 46 degrees Celsius.
The heat wave in India is not only affecting the activities of the citizens. Among other things, schoolchildren must start classes early to avoid the midday heat.
Animal rescuers in Gujarat say thousands of birds have also succumbed to the heat wave. Birds fell from the sky during a scorching heat wave.
Doctors at Ahmedabad City Veterinary Hospital suddenly have a new patient, dozens of birds. Doctors and nurses give multivitamin tablets and squirt water into the mouth to prevent dehydration.

The government has asked schools to start activities earlier in the morning to avoid the impact of this heat wave.
“The time can be from 7 a.m. The number of school hours per day can be reduced. Sports and other outdoor activities that expose students to direct sunlight can be adjusted from appropriately in the morning,” India’s Ministry of Education said.
Not only birds, but vets are also administering IVs to dehydrated cats due to heat wave at Jivdaya Charitable Trust rehabilitation center in Ahmedabad, India.
Gujarat health officials have appealed to hospitals to set up special wards for heatstroke and other heat-related illnesses due to rising temperatures.
