The Indian company Maryan Apparel, one of the main suppliers of uniforms to the Israeli police, announced that it was terminating its contract due to the attacks in Gaza following the Hamas attack on October 7, citing “moral“.

Maryan Apparel has supplied about 100,000 uniforms a year to the Israeli police since 2015, according to its data. “The suspension was decided after an attack on a hospital in Gaza which caused many people to die,”is a moral decision», its executive director, Thomas Olickal, told AFP.

The contract was not renewed

Israel and Palestine blamed each other for Tuesday’s attack on Ahli Arab hospital, which Hamas said left 471 people dead, and between “100 and 300» according to American intelligence agencies.
