MotoGP News: Syvlvain Guintoli has praised Jorge Martin who delivered an extraordinary performance at yesterday’s Indian MotoGP event. Even though he suffered from severe dehydration, Martin was strong enough to complete the challenge until he ultimately finished second.

There is no denying that the Indian GP is a tough challenge for all riders without exception. Buddh Circuit is a new track whose characteristics are not yet known to many riders. Not only is the circuit problematic, but India also experiences hot weather that easily dehydrates riders. Jorge Martin felt it himself when he ran there. He was struck by severe dehydration before finally managing to complete the challenge. Martin’s physical strength and great concentration were later praised by Guintoli. According to him, it is not easy to run solidly in such conditions.

“It was a problem with concentration. He was suspended, at the end of the race, physically. It was like your head was cooked in the helmet! You lose your mind, you lose your sight, you lose your mind. acuity,” Guintoli said.

The Indian GP results are crucial for Martin in the quest for the world title this season. He managed to finish second and gained a lot of points when Francesco Bagnaia, his toughest rival, fell. From now on, Martin is only 21 points behind Pecco who is still in the lead. With little time left in the season, Martin has the opportunity to become a big challenger to Bagnaia to defend his championship title.
