Unfortunately, Jokowi considers that financial commitments from developed countries are still limited to rhetoric and paper, whether it is climate finance of $100 billion a year, or loss and damage financing mechanisms.

Furthermore, Jokowi disclosed that currently developing countries need help in green technologies and investments to accelerate the reduction of emissions globally.

“We are developing countries, we really want to accelerate emission reductions, but we need support for technology transfer and green investments,” he said.

Apart from this, the President of Surakarta also said that funding to accelerate emission reductions is also considered important. Cooperation between the government and the private sector should be continued as it is seen as a major driver of change in reducing emissions.

“Last year in Bali, Indonesia launched the G20 Global Blended Finance Alliance in Bali, the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) program is to be extended and expanded,” he added. .
