Anargya ITS wins six championship titles in 2023 Bharat Pi-EV Formula

Team ITS Anargya with team code E01 is participating in Formula Bharat’s 7th Annual FSEV Concept Challenge (Pi-EV 2023) to be held online in India.

ITS Campus, ITS News – Student Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) continually writing in gold ink on the international stage. After winning 2nd place last year, the ITS Anargya team this time won five titles and occupied the 1st place on the podium in the 7th annual FSEV Concept Challenge (Pi-EV 2023) competition of Formula Bharat.

Pi-EV 2023 itself is an annual international competition organized by Formula Bharat, where students are challenged to design, engineer and simulate a formula electric car. Not only evaluating the technical design of the car, this competition also challenges participants in team management, sourcing of goods (supply), demonstrations of technical solutions in the field of racing. The results of the competition, organized online, were announced on July 29.

Staff Traction systems and controllers ITS Anargya Team Nalendra Nuswantoro explained that there were three categories of evaluation in this competition. By winning these five titles, Anargya ITS took first place Global event. “We managed to surpass 10 other international teams,” he said proudly.

Furthermore, the student who is familiarly called Ale said that the innovation brought by the ITS Anargya team during the competition held in India was the latest innovation with several developments from the innovations of the previous competition. “We are improving the performance and safety of electric cars so that they are better than last year,” explains the young man born in 2003.

Additionally, this student from the Department of Electrical Engineering explained several developments in electric car design from the previous year. Among other things, increasing the maximum speed of the car to 121 kilometers per hour is accompanied by a supply of energy from Energy storage according to the qualifications of the competition Formula Society of Automotive Engineers (FSAE).

Not only that, this car designed by Anargya ITS uses technology regenerative braking which is able to reuse wasted energy to recharge the vehicle battery. The car is also equipped with a remote monitoring system telemetry to accurately monitor the condition of the car while driving. In order to improve the performance, this car designed by Anargya ITS also added Cooling system and the internal battery fuse.

In the overall car manufacturing process, according to Ale, the ITS Anargya team has its own strategy in managing the team. Among others media marketing, finance, sponsorship, human resourcesuntil team structure who can control teamwork on a micro level. “Moreover, deeply supply or purchasing goods, our team also scored high on purchasing management, clarity and consistencyand budget allocation,” Ale explained.

Finally, the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) student hopes that the success of Anargya ITS at the Pi EV 2023 event can enable his team to continue learning and developing. Not only that, this event is also a stepping stone for the ITS Anargya team in preparing for the various competitions it will participate in in the future. “Especially FSAE Japan 2023 which will be held at the end of August,” he concluded.
