Medan: Men’s singles, Tegar Sulistio did not face any significant difficulty during his participation in the Xpora Indonesia International Challenge 2023 tournament. With the win, Tegar Sulistio will face Malaysian fifth seed Lee Shun Yang. The representative of the neighboring country entered the second round after defeating Indian men’s singles Kiran Kumar Mekala with an identical score of 21-4, 21-4.

Following in Tegar’s footsteps is Ikhsan Leonardo Imanuel Rumbay who also broke into the top 32. The men’s singles born on January 16, 2000 saw him through to the next round after overcoming resistance from Malaysian representative Tan Jia Jie with a score of 21-15, 14-21, 21-13.
