This Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) project includes the delivery, installation, integration, commissioning, operation and maintenance of smart meters based on DBFOOT, supported by technology and software solutions for end-to-end automated system management.
The project will be implemented under the Revised Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) and is expected to reduce total technical and commercial (AT&C) losses in the designated area and improve operational and collection efficiencies of UP Discoms, the press release said.
For the fourth quarter ended March 2023, GMR Power reported a consolidated net loss of ₹449.7 crore compared to a loss of ₹325.4 crore in the fourth quarter of FY22. In the December quarter of FY23 the Company had a profit of ₹393.4 crore. Consolidated net sales decreased to ₹1,169.8 crore in the fourth quarter of fiscal 22 from ₹1,378.3 crore and from ₹1,399.8 crore in the third quarter of fiscal 23.
Operating EBITDA was 81.9 crore ₹ compared to 57.8 crore ₹ in Q4 FY22 and 138.1 crore ₹ in Q3 FY23. Margin was 7% in Q4FY23, Q4FY22 and Q3FY23, 4% and 10% respectively.
