Sukoharjonews.com – Indian health technology company Ultrahuman has launched a new wearable product. It was the Ultrahuman Ring AIR and it followed last year’s Ring. The latest offering comes with new features and specifications compared to its predecessors. The company claims that it is the lightest sleep tracking device in the world.

Ultrahuman Ring AIR Specifications and Features
Gizmochina reporting, Friday (6/23/2023), as the name suggests, just slip the AIR Ultrahuman Ring onto your finger. The outer surface of the ring is made of titanium and coated with tungsten carbide which is supposed to withstand daily wear and tear. It is thin at 2.4mm and weighs only 2.4 grams.

Ultrahuman Ring AIR is equipped with an infrared photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor, a non-contact skin temperature sensor, a 6-axis motion sensor, a red LED for heart rate monitoring and SpO2, and a green and infrared LED for heart rate monitoring.

Skin temperature sensors are able to monitor the physiological state of the body and its response to various factors such as exercise, stress and disease. There is also a phase response curve (PRC) which reveals the effects of external stimuli such as light exposure, food and exercise which are mapped onto the body’s circadian rhythm.

Ultrahuman Ring AIR has a Sleep Index that provides comprehensive sleep results, including sleep duration, resting heart rate, and rest. There is also a Motion Index designed to keep the user moving for optimal glucose metabolism and to increase non-exercise energy consumption. The wearable also contains Heart Rate Variability (HRV) information to understand the body’s ability and readiness to recover each day.

Ultrahuman Ring AIR supports Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity and is compatible with iOS 14 and Android 6 or higher. Powered by a 24mAh LiPo battery said to last 6 days on a full charge.

Ultrahuman Ring AIR comes in matte black and costs Rs. 24,999 or Rp. 4.5 million as part of the initial offer. It is available for purchase on the company’s website. Ultrahuman also offers trade-in offers for Oura Gen 2 and Gen 3 bands and rings. (nano)
