According to Zoho, Ulaa puts users’ privacy above everything else and users have complete control over their personal information. “We are committed to never selling your data or engaging in any form of tracking or monitoring. We believe online privacy is a fundamental right and we do everything in our power to protect it.”
In order to keep the information anonymous, data entering the Zoho servers from users’ devices cannot be associated with the user in order to identify him. Ulaa adds an “extra layer of protection” to data by resetting all identifiers such as browser-randomized ID and profile UID each time the browser is opened. Also, Ulaa’s built-in EasyList filter removes ads from web pages to provide the user with a non-intrusive experience, the company says.
The web browser also ensures that there are no social media harassments. Zoho says its “Fanboy Annoyances List” automatically removes pop-ups, social media share buttons, and sign-up banners from your browser so webpages load faster and look cleaner.
To stop third-party sneaking in, the EasyPrivacy filter in Ulaa protects user’s personal information from advertising agencies and third-party websites by removing all forms of tracking from the Internet, including web bugs, tracking scripts, etc.
Ulaa offers dynamic mode switching, which means users can switch between five unique modes depending on the browsing experience they want, with each mode being completely isolated from the others. It allows users to ask Ulaa to open and remember which websites belong in certain modes.
Personal mode allows users to do all their online banking, music or video streaming or shopping. “They can view their browsing history, search history, favorite sites, and cookie data without having to log in to Ulaa.” This mode enables secure logins to user accounts, prevents ads, and protects online privacy.
Other browsing modes are work mode, developer mode, kids mode and open season mode. For productivity, according to Zoho, Ulaa comes equipped with tabs management options, built-in apps to boost productivity, an annotator, and Chrome browser extension features.
Zoho claims to have more than 90 million users around the world, with 55+ apps in almost every major business category.
Also, Zoho has announced an investment in AI, starting with the launch of 13 generative AI Zoho application extensions and integrations powered by ChatGPT. Zoho also announced wide-ranging investments across its portfolio to accelerate upmarket momentum after a three-year CAGR of 65% in midmarket and enterprise segments, which now account for one-third of its entire business.
