Cooperation: Ivory Coast professional journalists to be trained in India soon

Indian Ambassador to Côte d’Ivoire, Dr. Rajesh Ranjan expressed his commitment to support journalists in their quest for capacity building. He spoke during an audience he gave delegates African Association of Free Press Journalists (UJPLA) led by its president Yao Noël on Tuesday 7 March 2023 in Abidjan-Cocody.

The Indian diplomat found no difficulty in making every effort to enable journalists to access information about India in several areas as well as current events in India. According to him, this can become a reality through cooperation with the Indian media. In this case, he promised to provide access for UJPLA members to access news in India to also convey it.

He took this opportunity to return to the similarities that existed in Ivory Coast and India. According to the Ambassador, in terms of demographics, both countries have young populations and share many other things in the same field.

UJPLA President Yao Noël thanked the Indian Ambassador in Ivory Coast for his commitment to journalists. He said the availability of the Union he led to support India in its actions in Ivory Coast as in Africa.
