Tropical Village, an event not to be missed

Among the many pavilions that make up the international fair in Marseille, there is one that has become a must in recent years: the Tropical village. For this 2022 edition, around thirty exhibitors from the West Indies, Caribbean and Indian Ocean will be present in the Tropical village to introduce knowledge of this region and Creole culture more generally. Their regional ambassador, they will offer a real immersion in Creole culture with the program
musical entertainment, dance performances, songs, introduction to Creole cuisine and culinary competitions.

In a Tropical village, the stands’ names will smell of a change of scenery: la Kaz à Francine, Fa-Fa from Madagascar, Corne Eliette. Creole authenticity shines through and will have diners drooling with traditional dishes such as rougail sausage from Réunion, chicken colombo from the West Indies or coco blancmange from Guadeloupe on the menu.

As for musical entertainment, the tropical scene will offer an exciting artistic platform consisting of pre-fair selected young talents such as Aline Soara, JP Carbetti, Josselyn Neblai or the Lanmou Fanm Ka group, but also confirmed artists such as Victor Martinel, Steevy, Guilou or Partage passion de Polynésie group. These artists will make special appearances over two planned nights during which the fair will be surrounded by music, sports and gourmet entertainment.
