Fougères: a Peruvian student at the Saint-Joseph school

For five years now, the educational community ofSaint-Joseph la Moussaye School (teachers, Ogec staff, Apel and Ogec) from fern committed to a process of international openness.

Becoming an international school in December 2020, Saint-Joseph is committed not only to language learning but also to a global approach of openness to the world in all its dimensions: human, solidarity, intercultural or even pastoral.

Correspondence with Bolivian students

Every year, foreign students stay for a year at Saint Joseph International School in Fougères to follow the rhythm of the educational community and share their culture.

After discovering India with Johanna and Vietnam with Thu, welcoming Anna and Judith from Germany, this year the establishment welcomes Winnie Antonella Alfaro Gomez, a Peruvian student in international civil service.

Its mission is to promote English learning by preparing students for Cambridge certification, offering initiation into Spanish at extracurricular time and introducing Peru and South America to the rest of the educational community.

In partnership with the Bretagne Solidarité Pérou Bolivian association, Saint-Joseph school students will correspond with students in Bolivia and various solidarity actions will be organized.

Peru and Bolivia will also be honored during the international week which will start on Monday 27 February with the discovery of international artists and will end with vernissage during the open doors on Friday 3 March (open to all).
