Many Israelis make long trips abroad to mark the end of their military service, especially in Southeast Asia which is a very popular destination.
A few weeks ago, a 32-year-old Israeli tourist was found dead in his hotel room in India.
According to local reports, the man, later identified as 32-year-old Natan Levi, was found in his bedroom near the Himalayan mountain Sandakphu in northeastern India by a guide he hired. The latter had gone looking for him when he didn’t show up for the visit scheduled for the day.
The local police assumed that his death was not of a criminal nature and preferred a natural death.
