Jakarta –
The era of AI is approaching our eyes. Many industries have replaced human labor with intelligence technology or AI. Like this pretty meteorologist who isn’t human.
In the news broadcast on Taiwan TV, FTV shows a weather forecast presenter who looks like a real human. But the female weathercaster is powered by artificial intelligence technology that is taking the world by storm.
If it hadn’t been for the “AI News Anchor” label on TV screens, many people would have believed the woman to be human. The beginnings became the very first AI anchor.
The weathercaster gave a two-minute weather forecast on Monday (3/7/2023). This technology has been developed for six months by the FTV channel.
Such advanced technology can learn from past news broadcasts to refine communication capabilities in bringing weather forecast news. The column subsequently received good reviews.
“There is no mistake in the facial expressions. He looks realistic,” netizens commented.
“If it wasn’t mentioned, I wouldn’t think it was an AI,” said another netizen.
According to Thai PBS World, similar AI weather reporters are also being developed in the United States, South Korea and India.
However, FTV was so realistic that it immediately drew a lot of comments on SNS, to the point that many men had crushes on the IA girl.
“She’s gorgeous. I want to marry her, everyone’s invited to our Metaverse wedding,” one Facebook user joked.
