The new range of BMW F 850 GS Adventure motorcycles was launched in India, priced at Rs 12.50 Lakh.

BMW unveiled the new F 850 GS and BMW F 850 GS Adventure in India today. The BS6 Avatar of the acclaimed adventure bike will be available as a fully built unit (CBU) and can be ordered at BMW Motorrad dealers. Deliveries will begin in June 2022.

On the outside, the bike features a new design with features such as asymmetrical headlights and the GS signature flyline. In Rally style and in Racing Blue Metallic colours, the new BMW F 850 GS features a hand protection bar, black fixed fork tube, gold rims and a galvanized radiator cowl.

The new BMW F 850 GS Adventure in Rallye style and Kalamata matt metallic paint represents sporty flair and a sense of adventure. With gold rim and fixed fork tube, it looks very beautiful. Another alternative to the BMW F 850 GS Adventure is the Style Triple Black in the aggressive metallic Black Storm finish.

As before, a powerful liquid-cooled 2-cylinder 4-valve engine with a capacity of 853 cc, with fuel injection and a six-speed gearbox, provides strong propulsion for both models. The BMW F 850 GS and BMW F 850 GS Adventure make 95 hp at 8,250 rpm and 92 Nm at 6,250 rpm.

The new GS model meets the individual needs of the driver by offering both “Rain” and “Road” driving modes, while the combination of BMW Motorrad ABS and ASC automatic stability control ensures a high level of safety. Pro driving modes – ‘Dynamic’ and ‘Enduro’, Dynamic Traction Control DTC and ABS Pro are also available. The Dynamic ESA opens a new dimension in driver safety, performance and comfort.

Both motorcycles are equipped with a Connectivity system, with a 6.5-inch color TFT display. Incorporating operations through the BMW Motorrad Multi-controller, allows the driver quick access to vehicle functions and connectivity. Phone and media functions can be used without having to install an application. The driver can easily make phone calls and listen to music via Bluetooth connection. In addition, the BMW Motorrad Connected app offers daily practice-oriented arrow navigation directly on the TFT screen.
