Kolkata, June 03, 2023: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) actively participated as a knowledge partner in the Education Interface 2023 Event held on Netaji Indoor StadiumCalcutta from May 26-28, 2023.

In addition to their partnership, ICAI also set up a prominent booth at the career fair. The main goal of their participation was to raise awareness of business education and the importance of studying to become a chartered accountant. Numerous students took part in the event, thousands of them visited the Education Interface. Zee 24 Ghanta, a well-known news channel, covered the ICAI booth during its live evening news program on May 26, 2023.

Distinguished figures from various educational institutions attended the opening ceremony, including the Chairman of the Eastern India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. High-ranking guests of honor included Shri Firhad Hakim, Honorable Mayor of Kolkata And Minister of Urban Development, Municipal Affairs and Housing, Government of West Bengal; Shri Sovandeb ChattopadhyayHonorary Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Minister of Agriculture of the Government of West Bengal; Shri Snehasis Chakraborty, Minister of Honor, Ministry of Transport, Government of West Bengal; And Shri Purnendu BasuHonorary Chairman of West Bengal Technical and Vocational Education for Skills Development, Government of West Bengal.

On May 28, 2023, CA Ranjeet Agarwal, Vice President of ICAI, and CA (Dr.) Debashis Mitra, Past President of ICAI, visited the ICAI booth.

There was a lively presence at the ICAI booth as many members and students enthusiastically attended the event.
