Disney Magic

I may have grown up, but Disney is still an integral part of me, so much so that I could give my 5 year old niece in Singapore competition. She has a Disney princess party for her 4th Birthday I want it for my 30th. Can you really blame me? Those fairy-tales are what we grew up with and a part of each girl wants to still be that princess- Career, Family, Husband’s Family, Health, Diet and Drama aside. Well even though we can’t really be the princess’s but no harm wanting to keep that part alive, especially when you are in need of a little magic, like I am right now. So here are some ways we can still incorporate Disney into our Real World.

Disney inspired interiors MG_2639

To give Disney fans a holistic experience and to bring a piece of Disney magic in day to day life, Disney is getting real estate players on board to provide Disney enthusiasts with Disney inspired interiors and exteriors. Though this is obviously a Kids room, I love the statement it makes for a Study even at an older age.

Through the years, Chopard has maintained the distinguished status as ‘Jeweller to the Stars’. And frankly, Disney Princess’s get deserve that title more than most Stars. Caroline Scheufele, Co-President and Artistic Director, Chopard has interpreted the key characteristics of Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Mulan, Pocahontas, Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and Tiana by designing ten unique High Jewellery pieces that unveiled at the Chopard Boutique at Harrods, London in November 2012.

Mystic Manor

And finally, Mystic Point, the final chapter of Hong Kong Disneyland’s current expansion project, will officially open on May 17, 2013. Rich in storytelling, Mystic Manor, an all-new, original attraction within Mystic Point, is home to brand new characters, special effects and architecture.

So hope you can join in the magic of Disney this season! How would you include the magic of Disney in your life this season?

DISNEY’S 20th ANNIVERSARY SUMMER TIME – A SEASON FOR NEW THINGS!The new features unveiled for Disneyland Paris’ 20th Anniversary will be continuing throughout the summer, including the extraordinary night time sound and light show Disney Dreams®!

Disney Dreams®!
After dark every evening, the Disney Dreams®! show dazzles guests with myriads of lights, colours and magic.  Featuring special effects created especially for this world first at Disneyland Paris, the not-to-be-missed show goes beyond anything guests can imagine.  For the first time ever, they’ll be caught up in the action through images projected onto Sleeping Beauty Castle. First and foremost, Disney Dreams®! tells a moving, magical story.  Guided by Peter Pan, guests discover or rediscover the greatest Disney stories: Beauty and the Beast, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, not forgetting Aladdin, Rapunzel and many, many more. Using state-of-the-art techniques, Sleeping Beauty Castle is transformed successively into a star-studded sky where Peter Pan takes flight; a replica of Notre-Dame cathedral with the Hunchback on its roof; and a fantastic play area for the chimney sweeps from Mary Poppins.  The best-known Disney songs, specially arranged for the occasion, also play an important role in the story. This breath-taking nighttime show features dazzling lasers, spectacular water sprays and absolutely incredible firework effects, culminating in a finale like none other ever seen at Disneyland Paris. Water plays a key role in the show, with two water screens and more than 30 new fountains, some of them producing water sprays over twenty metres high.  These have been installed all around Sleeping Beauty Castle. In addition to all these incredible effects, the teams of designers decided to use breath-taking firework effects.  Pillars of fire burst out on all sides of Sleeping Beauty Castle, really setting it aflame. With performances every evening at the Disneyland Park, Disney Dreams®! is THE show you absolutely must see – pure, unadulterated magic, never before seen at Disneyland Paris.
