If you have ever visited India, you would have noticed the vast variety of cultures, customs and terrains around the country. You may or may not have noticed that we love celebrations, we celebrate dozens of festivals across India and this is excluding weddings. Upcoming first in March we have Holi which is to celebrate the advent of spring and the end of winters. People throw powdered colour and coloured water on each other. And later in April we have Baisakhi which signifies the New solar year. So here is a colourful welcome to Indian spring and a tribute to the various cultures and customs of India.

I have always wanted a Swimming pool at home, I think from the age of 7 or 8 when I learnt how to swim. Well I also wanted a pet elephant, 3 dogs and a Fish pond, but I would have been quite satisfied with just the pool (and ok 2 dogs, the elephant I realised was a bit much to ask). My reason for the desire of a swimming pool was cause I am a complete water baby and can actually spend a good part of my day immersed in water. Anyway while I was growing up having a pool in your backyard was the ultimate sign of luxury. It was those handful of kids who always had the fancy birthday parties with clowns and trampolines and games which we normal kids only saw in carnivals. These ofcourse grew up to be teenagers who had the fancy pool parties for their birthdays and Holi. And then adults who have pool parties at every occasion. So the pool was used for every other thing than actually swimming. I mean none of them ever said “Oh! I am going to my farm for a swim” they had club memberships to go swimming.
Well, guess what? Now you can actually have a swimming pool in your backyard, and no it does not cost the earth(Apparently the same price as a medium size car), nor is it super difficult to maintain. All this is thanks to Premium pools. Premium pools, is one of the pioneers in the field of constructing designer pools. They create an enjoyable and captivating aura that will increase the aesthetic(and monetary) value of your property.“We design and construct pools, spas and landscapes and cater to all budgets and lifestyles,” says Vivek Mishra, director and technical head, Premium Pools. His company forges an assimilation of human creativity and technical accuracy so as to build the best above-ground pools. You also have a variety of options to choose from
Free-form pools: This style of pool designing is very comfortable and allows retreating to a cosy and private corner akin to drifting aimlessly on a raft. People often compare it to a mountain or oasis like retreat. Therapy pool: in which Hot tubs and spas are pools with hot water, used for relaxation or therapy, and are common in homes, hotels, clubs and massage parlors. Wading Pool or kiddie Pool: is a small shallow area of water in which small children or adults can get their feet and lower bodies wet. Indoor swimming pools: while still considered a pretty fancy feature in the home, are truly gaining popularity in mainstream India. Outdoor swimming pools: These can be of many types like Garden Pools, Terrace pools,Stream-fed-scenery pools etc. Custom pool designs: customers often prefer a particular type of pool comprising some personal preferences or customised features. These include the beach entry or the vanishing edge.
It takes just 30 feet by 15 feet of the kitchen garden space to accommodate a pool in your back yard. It does not take more than 45 working days to have a swimming pool constructed in your back yard if you have opted for the right swimming pool builder. Apart from using it for swimming in summers, pools are now being used all the year round for throwing pool side parties etc.(take that!)
