Surveillance by The Indian Express revealed that Delhi Chief Secretary Sanjeev Khirwar along with his wife, Rinku Dugga were exercising while carrying their dog on the empty stadium track.
Even though the stadium is usually bustling with athletes and exercising residents.
This horrific news brought the Delhi city government and India’s Home Ministry into action.
Delhi City Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced that all stadiums run by the city government were open to the public until 10 p.m.
