Putin’s magnificent parade on Red Square is expected on Victory Day over Nazi Germany – Holidays in Putin’s country! But it got scary. For despots!
Kremlin Lord Wladimir Putin (69) delivers a show of bankruptcy: a parade without a win!
What a shame: During the march, which had shrunk by half, the Luftwaffe remained on the ground: Because the “flying Kremlin”, Putin’s air command center, was said to be out of order.
The central plane for the air show, where fighters, bombers and other military aircraft were supposed to form a Z war in the skies, was missing. So: rejection.
Minutes before the parade started, the Kremlin canceled the air show. Presumably due to bad weather. The real reason, according to insiders: Putin’s “doomsday jet,” an Ilyushin Il-80, which flew over Moscow during rehearsals, is said to have had a technical problem.Photo: TATYANA MAKEYEVA/REUTERS

The show of bankruptcy from Red Square – according to Putin’s war record so far:
loss
At least 12 Russian generals were killed at the front, the Chief of General Staff was injured, according to Ukrainian data, 25,000 Russian soldiers were killed, thousands of tanks and other vehicles were destroyed, 12 ships including the main ship Moscow were sunk, 350 helicopters and planes were shot down. In addition, thousands of people were injured.

Business
According to forecasts, the Russian economy will collapse by 15% by 2022. Almost all Western companies and investors have withdrawn and factories have closed. Aviation is on the verge of collapse due to a lack of spare parts and maintenance from the West. And: China is waiting, dependent on a weakened Russia to control.
isolation
Russia can only rely on partners such as Iran, Syria and Venezuela. China and India are still looking at the situation. Saudis are happy with high oil prices. But it was with Russian friends.
united opponent
Putin is counting on Western indecision and faltering candidates like Germany. Instead, NATO and the West are united like never before – against Moscow.
bankruptcy war
Even after 74 days, Putin has not achieved his war goals: he was unable to overthrow the leadership in Kyiv – on the contrary: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj (44) became a global star. Kyiv has not been taken, Kharkiv is not, not even the port city of Mariupol is not completely.

Putin even had to shamelessly swear at Russia for a petty cause: Instead of destroying Ukraine, as declared at the start of the war on February 24, it is now “about security in the Donbass” …
Splendid Putin – his super tank just slides in the parade
The BTR “Boomerang” has been in use at Russian parades since 2015. Even today, seven years later, not a single copy is in service. The killer drone piloting the “Uran-9” has officially been in service with the Russian army since 2016. But their only “battle tank” remains Putin’s majestic parade.

Since 2015, the T-14 “Putin super tank” has been parading in the Protz parade on “Victory Day”. It was never used in war. “Technically immature,” doubt expertsPhoto: IMAGO/SNA
Putin’s embarrassing speech on “Victory Day”
Not a victory speech!
In his “Victory Day” address over Nazi Germany, Kremlin ruler Vladimir Putin, 69, did not announce an expansion of the war against Nazi Germany, as many feared. Ukraine on. He also did not give a timetable by which Russia’s campaign against its western neighbours should be completed. Strange too: the word “Ukraine” never crossed his lips.

On the contrary, Putin justified the invasion as an act of self-defense: The West, Putin said, was already preparing for “an invasion of our country, including Crimea.” Therefore, Russia’s war of aggression is “the only right decision” for a “sovereign, strong and independent state”.
The German government immediately rejected Putin’s justification of the invasion: references to alleged threats from the West and NATO were “baseless”.
