The Kenya Sevens will renew their rivalry with Fiji when they face Olympic champions Tokyo in the seventh stage of the World Series of Sevens in Toulouse starting Friday.
7 of Toulouse will perform at the Ernest-Wallon stadium, with a capacity of 19,500 people.
Led by new manager Damian McGrath, Shujaa will face Fiji, hosts France and Wales in Group B.
Group A featured winners from Vancouver 7, Argentina, who were grouped alongside England, Canada and Japan.
Australia are in Group C and will face New Zealand, Scotland and the United States. The final group includes World Series 7 leaders Samoa, South Africa, Ireland and Spain.
Previously, the French event was held in Paris, but World Rugby has announced new host cities including Malaga, Seville (in Spain) and Toulouse for the 2022 event.
Archadius Khwesa and Ben Salem compete on their debuts when Shujaa’s squad for the Toulouse and London legs of the World Rugby Sevens series is announced on Saturday 14 May 2022.
The duo, along with Alvin Otieno, Timothy Mmasi and Johnstone Olindi, are five squad changes that did their homework in draw stops in Singapore and Vancouver.
