Sony will be releasing free PlayStation Plus games for PS4 and PS5 for May 2022. Assuming that Sony collects on the traditional calendar, the next PS Plus giveaway will be officially announced at 4:30pm BST on April 27th. The PlayStation 4 and PS5 games will be available for download less than a week later on the morning of May 3. Before the big reveal, customers had fun predicting May’s lineup.
In the monthly predictions thread on Reddit, subscribers have listed a few games they think will be coming to PS Plus in May.
One game that gets a lot of mention is Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order on PS4/PS5. That’s because it’s Star Wars Day on May 4.
Other games with multiple mentions include Sackboy: A Big Adventure, which was a PS5 launch title.
Marvel’s Avengers continues to feature prominently in the prediction thread, along with NFS: Heat, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, NBA 2K22, and Lost Legacy.
Hopeful fans have signed up for games like Far Cry 6, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1&2, and Sekiro.
The new games will replace the current lineup of Hood: Outlaws & Legends, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated, and Slay the Spire.
The highlight is Slay the Spire, which is a roguelike card game in which the player must defeat enemies, fight bosses, and kill various bosses in the game.
Embark on a journey through the ever-changing Spire in this fantastic deck-building adventure that combines card and roguelike games.
