Officially retired, here are Greysia Polii’s accomplishments, from the Olympics to the SEA Games

KBB NEWS – Indonesia never lacks talented athletes. One of them is a women’s doubles badminton specialist, Greysia Polii.

Greysia Polii couldn’t help but be sad when she revealed her decision to hang up her racquet.

With watery eyes fighting back tears, Greysia admitted the decision was made after she felt she had accomplished enough in the world of badminton.

“First of all, I want to express my gratitude for everything that has happened so far. When the athletes give their best for Indonesia, PBSI and other parties will thank the athletes who will stop as players,” Greysia said in Jakarta on Friday, June 3, 2022.

“I have no other words than my gratitude to God. I want to thank PBSI for giving me the trust for 19 years to become a home for me as an athlete,” said Greysia Polii.

Greysia Polii has been at the PBSI National Training Center since 2003. During that time, Greysia has been paired with Jo Novita, Nitya Krishinda Maheswari, Heni Budiman, Vita Marissa, Apriyani Rahayu and Meliana Jauhari.
