Badminton News: India’s mixed team competition at the Asian Junior Badminton Championships came to an end when they suffered a 1-3 loss to Indonesia in the quarter-finals in Yogyakarta, Indonesia on Monday.
Mixed doubles pair Samarveer/Radhika Sharma couldn’t beat Adrian Pratama/Felisa Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu, losing 16-21 and 15-21 to give Indonesia a 1-0 lead.
In the men’s singles match, Ayush Shetty showed his tenacity and ability in a thrilling match against Alwi Farhan. Although the game was tight, Shetty narrowly lost 21-18, 15-21 and 19-21 to take Indonesia’s lead to 2-0.
