SURABAYA, BANGSAONLINE.com – The Indonesian U-24 national team will participate in the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.

The 22-player Garuda team was in Group F with North Korea, Taiwan and Kyrgyzstan.

In the first match, the Red and White national team will face the toughness of Kyrgyzstan (19/9), then face Taiwan (21/9), and finally North Korea (24/9).

Men’s football has been part of the Asian Games since the 1951 edition in India, while women’s football began in 1990.

South Korea is the only country to have won the most men’s football titles at the Asian Games with a collection of 5 trophies.

Japan is the only country to win two gold medals in men’s and women’s football at the 2010 Asian Games.
