Chinese smartphone maker Vivo’s iQoo sub-brand launched its latest flagship smartphone series in China earlier this month. The iQoo 12 series is the successor to last year’s iQoo 11 series and includes two models – the iQoo 12 and the iQoo 12 Pro. Both smartphones are powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and are available in three color options – black, white and red – in China. The company will now launch the vanilla iQoo 12 smartphone in India on December 12. Ahead of the phone’s launch in India, the company is offering sneak peek sessions of the model in a few cities in India. The company used social media platform X to announce the upcoming sneak peek sessions.

The sessions take place in several cities in different cities. The iQoo 12 Sneak Peek sessions will begin on November 26 in Bengaluru, continue on December 3 in Mumbai and end on December 10 in Hyderabad. To register for these sessions, enthusiasts must fill out a form Google Form whose link is included in the X post.
iQoo 12 India variant: Key specifications
iQoo has already confirmed that the Indian variant of the smartphone will come with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform supported by LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. In addition, the iQoo 12 will also feature Vivo’s self-developed SuperComputing Chip Q1. This chip is designed to optimize the phone’s performance while gaming and ensure smooth gameplay at up to 144Hz (at 1080P).
The Chinese variant of the smartphone features a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display and offers up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. For photography, the iQoo 12 has a 50MP main sensor, a 64MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens. The smartphone also has a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. iQoo 12 has a 5000mAh battery that supports up to 120W fast charging.
