Indonesia welcome qualifications Asian Cup U-17 and U-20 which will take place in September and October.
The certainty that Indonesia will host the qualifier for both age groups is based on a statement released by AFC on Thursday (19/5).
The U-17 Asian Cup qualifiers will take place from October 1-9, while the U-20 Asian Cup qualifiers will take place from September 10-18, 2022.
In the press release on the official website FCAThe U-17 and U-20 Asian Cup qualifiers will feature 44 teams divided into 10 groups.
The U-17 and U-20 Asian Cup qualifying group stages will take place in 10 host countries, including Indonesia.
Indonesia will host the U-17 Asian Cup qualifiers along with Australia, Bangladesh, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.
The AFC U-17 and U-20 Cup qualifying draw will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Tuesday (24/5) at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. local time or 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. WIB.
The Asian U-17 and U-20 Cup is a new era of age group football championships in Asia. U-17 replaces U-16 while U-20 replaces U-19.
Therefore, the draw for the U-17 Asian Cup qualifiers will use a split based on the 2018 Asian U-16 Cup ranking in Malaysia, with Japan, South Korea, India , Iran, Yemen and Thailand in Pot 1.

While Iraq, Malaysia, Afghanistan, China, Hong Kong and Brunei Darussalam are in Pot 2. Myanmar, Timor Leste, Palestine, Syria, Singapore, Taiwan and Nepal are in Pot 4.
Meanwhile, Lebanon, Fili[ina, Mongolia, Maladewa, Guan, Bhutan, Makau, Sri Lanka, dan Kepulauan Marina Utara di Pot 4. Disusul Kuwait, Turkmenistan, Uni Emirat Arab, dan Bahrain di Pot 5.
Drawing kualifikasi Piala Asia U-20 akan berdasarkan hasil Piala Asia U-19 2018 di Indonesia. Indonesia jadi tuan rumah ajang ini bersama Bahrain, Irak, Yordania, Kirgistan, Laos, Mongolia, Oman, Aran Saudi, dan Tajikistan.
