Indonesia added two gold medals in Asian Games 2023 on Tuesday (3/10). With six gold medals, Indonesia is still ranked 12th in the medal table.
The fifth gold medal for the Indonesian contingent at the 2023 Asian Games was presented by Rahmat Erwin Abdallah of the sport of weightlifting. Rahmat was the best in the 73 kg category with a total lift of 359 kg.
Rita Kusuma Dewi urged went on to win Indonesia’s sixth gold medal at the 2023 Asian Games in the women’s speed climbing sport. Desak also broke the Asian record with a time of 6.364 seconds.
The length of the cliff also contributed to two bronze medals. Both medals were won by Rajiah Sallsabillah (women’s sprint) and Veddriq Leonardo (men’s sprint).
Indonesia has now collected a total of 22 medals in the 2023 Asian Games. The details are six gold medals, three silver medals and 13 bronze medals.
The feat places Indonesia at 12th place in the 2023 Asian Games medal table. Meanwhile, the top spot is still held by China with 161 gold, 89 silver and 46 bronze.
