India’s 2022 Thomas & Uber Cup squad: scattered by Deadly Dark Horse players

The Badminton World Association (BAI) has released a team of dark horses to compete in the 2022 Thomas and Uber Cup Men’s and Women’s Tag Team Championships.

INDOSPORT.COM – The Badminton World Association (BAI) released a team based on black horses, to compete in the 2022 Thomas and Uber Cup Men’s and Women’s Team Championships.

It is known that Team Thomas and Uber Cup 2022 badminton will be held from May 8 to 15, 2022 at Krung Thep Maha Nakhon (Bangkok), Thailand.

Badminton athletes from 16 participating countries will take part in the 32nd edition of the Thomas Cup and the 29th Uber Cup in Thailand.

In the previous edition, the Indonesian men’s team themselves pulled off a feat by lifting the 2020 Thomas Cup trophy after a 3-0 win over China in the final.

While the Chinese women’s team also successfully won the 2020 Uber Cup title after winning 3-1 against Japan in the final round. The title is the 15th for the Uber China team and the 14th Thomas Cup title for Indonesia.

Now, in the 2022 Thomas and Uber Cups, all participating countries have an equal opportunity to fight for the championship. One of them is India.

As a big country strong in badminton, India has never tasted the sweetness of winning the Thomas or Uber Cup trophies.

India’s best achievement in the prestigious badminton tournament is being Uber Cup semi-finalists in the 2014 and 2016 editions.

Now, in the organization of the 2022 Thomas and Uber Cups, India is among the “dark horse” countries that have the potential to take on the leading countries. Especially with the progress made.
