Brilliant on their debut in the Women’s International Tent Pegging Championship, the trio of Indian captains Ritika Dahia, Priyanka Bhardwaj and Khushi Singh won the bronze medal for the country at the prestigious event in Jordan.
A total of 14 countries competed and the Indian team made their presence felt since their debut, finishing 136 points behind gold medalists South Africa (170.5) and second-placed Oman (146).

On the first day of competition, Dahiya and Bhardwaj competed in individual and pair spear events. The team finished seventh at the end of the competition on the first day.
On the second day, the teams competed in individual and team epee and finished second with 24 points. In the individual event, Khushi Singh took first place with 18 points.

With a strong performance on day two, India moved up to fourth overall.
On the third day, the team competed in the Ring, Ankle, and Epee events and took second place. Consistent good performances propelled India into third place overall for a historic bronze medal on their debut at the International Tent Federation event.
