The Indian government plans to take the IIT-JEE (IIT-Joint Entrance Examination) globally, with simultaneous exams in 25 countries, from the United States to Vietnam.

In Kuala Lumpur and Lagos, voting took place last year. Previously, the IIT-JEE exams were conducted in 12 countries in conjunction with the Indian government.

Countries where exams are held: United States, Australia, South Africa, Singapore, China, Nepal, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, United Arab Emirates and many more.

About 3,900 undergraduate places and 1,300 postgraduate places will be offered to NRIs, Indians and foreigners studying abroad.

These places will be awarded to the highest quality engineering institutes in the country.

According to the Union Ministry of Education, under the Admissions Abroad Scheme (DASA), these students will be offered admission to tertiary institutions across the country.

Foreign students can enter the National Institute of Technology, the National Institute of Information Technology, the School of Planning and other technical institutions funded by architects and the central government.

These include Triple ID and NIT which are considered to be the best engineering education institutions. However, this method is not applicable in IIT.

Even though the IIT has been removed from Dasa, there are still a number of engineering companies that offer this chair.

Of the above institutions, 15% of the seats are reserved for NRIs and international students.

The Union Ministry of Education hosts international universities that offer various courses to students in conjunction with higher education institutions in India.

Following this initiative, Indian ambassadors in 63 countries around the world were contacted. Some of these countries are: Japan, Netherlands, Russia, South Korea, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Spain, UK, Australia, Canada, Germany, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Argentina, Brazil, Greece, Cyprus, Iceland and Turkey. .

The ministry said the campaign will not only help Indian higher education institutions to collaborate with foreign educational institutions, but also encourage foreign universities to send their students to Indian institutions.

Under the federal government’s Institution of Eminence program, many universities have been granted Institute of Eminence status. Foreign students are attracted to the country’s eminence institute.

According to former IIT professor, DK Sharma, thousands of foreigners come to the country every year for admission into Indian universities.

According to Professor CS Kandpal, after the JEE Mains, the JEE ADVANCE exam was held. Based on JEE Advance results, 23 IIT, 31 NIT, 23 Triple ID offer 40.00 places.

Last year, in JEE-Advanced Paper 1 and Paper 2, about 14,1699 people took the exam.

About 41,862 people are eligible for JEE-Advance 2021. Of those who are eligible, 6,452 are women.

Significantly, 13 different languages ​​have been recognized for important exams like JEE. Students wishing to study engineering can take exams in their native language at this facility.

This year, the JEE-Main exam will take place in two stages in June and July. The first phase of the JEE main exam begins on June 20. The JEE Advanced Exam will be held for students who pass the JEE Basic Exam.

However, in many technical colleges and technical institutes, admission is granted on the basis of a JEE Major qualification. In such cases, international and NRI students can also be admitted under the JEE main exam.
