The TV commercial begins with a shot of a cricket stadium and features Kohli’s name on a billboard beneath a prestigious list of batsmen before abruptly disappearing. At a press conference, where Kholi’s presence fades over time, a trophy cabinet on the wall, newspapers, YouTube channels, and a wall in the dressing room follow a pattern similar to the roll of honor. The ad then shows a close-up of his face, which can be seen on screen as he dons his helmet after moments of introspection in his dressing room.
Kohli, in the final moments of the commercial, urges viewers to forget all of his achievements and his cricket past and instead focus on the new opportunities and personality he will take on.
Finally, he exits the dressing room and enters an energetic stadium through open doors. The symbolic open doors morph into the company logo with the slogan “My account starts today” as he moves away from the camera.
Speaking of the ad, Kohli said, “I knew the association would be very organic and natural and not forced in any way. You can rest on your laurels, but the moment counts most. My system of discipline, dedication and focus, aspects that have played key roles in my career to date, deeply reflects his heritage in India.”
Sandeep Batra, the firm’s Head of Wealth and Private Banking, said: “This campaign is a testament to our commitment to growth and our aspiration to become a financial partner of choice.”
Jaswinder Sodhi, the firm’s Head of Customer Proposition, Digital and Marketing, Wealth and Personal Banking, said, “In India, Cricket’s ability to transcend borders is a seamless fit with our purpose.” We reiterate our commitment to bringing new opportunities to our clients .”
