Google Images can now create AI images, just enter keywords into Google search!

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Google is now introducing a new feature that allows users to produce images directly in Google Images. Delivered via Google BlogsMonday (16/10/2023), this feature uses the help of artificial intelligence (AI).

For example, if you’re looking for inspiration for Halloween table decorations or spooky ideas for dog houses, you can type them into the search bar and ask Google to generate images based on those requests. .

What’s special about this feature is that users can activate Google Lens on the resulting images to search for real-world products similar to those displayed by this generative AI.

However, keep in mind that to use this feature, users must register with Google Labs and select the SGE program.

Additionally, the new AI image creation feature is only available in the United States, in English-language apps, and for users over 18 years old.

While this feature is convenient, there are some limitations to consider. Users will not be able to create photorealistic images of human faces, as well as images of famous people.

Google has also implemented the SynthID system developed by DeepMind to provide watermark metadata that cannot be detected visually.

Watermarks it provides information about who created the image and when it was created.

These new features are accessible through the Labs tab of the Google app on iOS and Android, as well as on the Chrome desktop for some users.

Although this feature is being introduced today, it will be rolled out to more users in the coming weeks.

This is Google’s latest attempt to control the misuse of generative AI technology and provide a more controlled user experience.
