Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The G20 summit held in New Delhi, India, officially concluded on Sunday (9/10/2023). Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, said the G20 Summit in New Delhi has opened a new path for development centered on humanity and inclusion.

The declaration consists of 12 parts and 83 paragraphs containing the commitment of the G20 members on the issues of global growth, achievement of the SDGs, sustainable economy, multilateralism, technological transformation and digital infrastructure, international taxation , gender equality and women’s empowerment, financial issues and the fight against terrorism. and money laundering, as well as efforts to create a more inclusive world order.

At the G20 Summit in New Delhi, Indonesia supported the priorities of the Indian presidency by continuing to prioritize inclusion through efforts to maintain the relevance of the G20 as an organization. first world economic forum in response to global problems. On the other hand, Indonesia also confirmed its commitment to implementing the G20 Bali Summit, especially in the sectors of global health architecture, digital economic transformation and energy transition.

President Jokowi, who attended the summit, said Indonesia hopes the world will become one big family that builds each other and has the common goal of creating a peaceful life.

“I agree, if the world is like a big family, the family that Indonesia hopes for is a family that builds each other up, takes care of each other and has a common goal, which is to create a peaceful and prosperous life,” the statement said.

Furthermore, Brazil will hold the presidency of the G20 in 2024.
