Denis Brogniart and Muriel Robin each lend their voices to Lex Luthor and his guinea pig Lulu, cartoon villains Crypto and Super Animals, in theaters July 27. An exercise”pleasant“according to both.
In order to save his master Superman, who was kidnapped by Lex Luthor and his evil guinea pig Lulu, the flying super dog Krypto will team up with a group of soul animals… Taken from the successful eponymous comic strip (already adapted for TV), Crypto and Super Animals (to be found today in French cinemas) meets dubbing Muriel Robin and moderator Denis Brogniart. Télé-Loisirs sent him to the “choixpeau” interview. The principle: each person draws a piece of paper from a hat on which is written the word related to the film.
A first for Denis Brogniart
As quirky as it may seem, and despite his instantly recognizable tone of voice, Denis Brogniart has never lent his voice to an animated character in cinema before. Crypto and Super Animals. For his first experience, host Koh-Lanta was in charge of playing an iconic role: Superman’s arch nemesis, Lex Luthor. An experience that interested parties love so much that he admits to being in a rush to update. It has to be said that film dubbing is an activity that certainly takes him a lot less from his family than the TF1 survival show.
On the other hand, for Muriel Robin, the older brother of Pierre Palmade’s heart, it was not the first time. But the experience is long, because in 1999 he excelled by dubbing Tok in a Disney cartoon, Tarzan. Since then, strangely no one has thought of offering him a voiceover again…until today!
Shall we go see?
Crypto and Super Animals is certainly family entertainment, funny and full of action, therefore not without substance. Indeed, the super animal of the title is a stray animal and it is therefore no coincidence that the film has partnered with SPA for its French release. There’s also been a lot of talk about adopting animals that no one wants… An important battle over the summer holidays, shared by Denis Brogniart and Muriel Robin. Both have pets and this aspect of the film was a major factor in their decision to participate. “I can’t even imagine abandoning an animal, it’s so despicable!” explained the TF1 host, during this interview. A man with a voice and therefore a heart…
